When one of urban america's favorite designers like Timberland excluded a certain urban clientele, Daymond, being the business mogul he is, saw an opportunity to serve that client base and pursue what he loved. Daymond John created FUBU which stands for For Us By Us. Daymond's brand of clothing became the Black-Owned, fashion stop for hip-hop artists for over a decade. Client’s like LL Cool J and Run DMC were the key player’s to put the historic street wear line on the map.
